      Marketing Interview

      Nov 27, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Human Interest in Sep 2025

      Interview

6 interviews in succession, during which I received a lot of positive feedback, and then they did not extend an offer or give any meaningful feedback. Good communication, but very misleading to have someone do 6 interviews over the course of two weeks and then reject them.

Are you open to responding to messages after hours? (Red flag)

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Human Interest

      Interview

I was contacted by a recruiter after applying online. A call was scheduled and in the body of their email they explained they might be a few minutes late to the call, which of course is no big deal. When it came time to have the call, I joined the zoom and waited around for 15 minutes and no one from their team ever showed up. When I emailed the person to find out what happened, I got an auto reply back stating that I should contact another recruiter so I did. This person responded to my email stating that they'd conduct the interview the following week. No apology was made for wasting my time or for how the situation was handled in general. If this is how they treat people who are interested in working at the company (and presumably recruiters should want to make a good impression on candidates), then I can't imagine how they treat their current employees. It seems the negative reviews are backed by truth! Terrible impression.

I wanted to reach out to apologize for the experience you had in setting up an interview with our recruiting team. I am disappointed as well, as it’s certainly not the way in which we want candidates to be treated. I would be interested in learning more about the role you were interviewing for so that I can take a look into what happened and be able to prevent this happening again. Please reach out to me at debbie@humaninterest.com if you are willing to discuss. Thank you.
