I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Humanoid (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
I was told that there will be several interview steps at a relaxed pace (it was said it will take some weeks): some live coding, behavioral (or situational) and one more with the manager
The reality: passed first interview and the second was cancelled (they've found a candidate)
My take: Given the poor effort-to-reward ratio - not worth wasting your time if you are a serious developer, real successful startup skills have been ignored and not considered

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Humanoid (London, England)
Interview
I went through an interview process with Humanoid and wanted to share my experience for transparency.
I had an initial call with a recruiter who mentioned the usual points and said they were impressed with my profile. They scheduled a phone screen shortly after. The phone screen consisted of easy to medium level LeetCode style questions.
During the interview, the overall experience felt unusual to me. The interviewers appeared to be based outside my region, and in my view they did not demonstrate a strong understanding of common data structures or the trade offs involved. This stood out to me, especially as someone who has interviewed extensively with large, well known tech companies and has worked in those environments.
The process felt unstructured and unnatural compared to what I am used to. Separately, I noticed that the same roles appear to be reposted frequently on LinkedIn, often with similar descriptions and recruiter outreach. This gave me the impression that hiring activity may be limited, although I cannot confirm this.
I want to be clear that this review reflects only my personal experience and observations. I am not claiming wrongdoing or calling the company a scam. However, based on my experience, I would recommend that candidates from stable and well established companies carefully evaluate whether this process is worth their time.
Sharing this to help others make an informed decision.
