I applied through other source. I interviewed at Humanoid (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
The whole interview process was smooth. I got a call first enquiring about my application and then I was invited for an on-site interview where I was given a complete tour of the office space and everybody there gave a warm welcome. I was moved to the next technical onsite interview. Again, they made me feel relaxed so I don’t panic. The interviews were all very punctual and I was even asked to have lunch with them after the interview. Loved the whole interview process!
I applied online. I interviewed at Humanoid (London, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process felt very unstructured and unprofessional. I went through six interviews in total, most of which were conducted online.
One of the earliest red flags occurred during an early-stage interview, which was rescheduled just five minutes before the scheduled start time. While scheduling conflicts can happen, being notified so close to the interview felt chaotic and did not reflect consideration for the fact that candidates also arrange their own schedules around interview commitments.
My fifth interview was an onsite technical interview, which was originally communicated to me as the final stage. This required me to fly abroad to London. I was explicitly promised reimbursement for my flights; however, I never received the reimbursement.
The overall interview process was extremely slow, lasting approximately four months due to internal leadership changes within the department. Throughout this time, I was repeatedly told that all of my interviews, including the onsite interview which was intended to be my final stage, went very well and that I was the only candidate being considered for the role.
Despite being told the onsite interview was the final stage, I was later informed that I would need to complete a sixth interview due to internal changes. It has now been four months since that final interview, and I have received no update on my application status. I was never informed whether I was accepted or rejected.
Given that I underwent six interviews, travelled internationally for the role, and was promised reimbursement that was never provided, the lack of communication and closure felt highly unprofessional. I have followed up for an application updates and my emails have since been ignored. I've also followed up on my reimbursement, sent bank details and still have not received the reimbursement.
I had a strong interest in Humanoid’s work, especially given its position as one of the few London-based robotics companies, but the interview experience left a very bad impression.
