I have heard of others simply having a coffee chat in place on a formal interview or even getting hired based on connections and personal referrals. My interview was very typical and basic, and consisted of questions regarding my background and experience and mostly me selling myself to the manager. Interview process was pleasant. Received Prescreening interview from Human Resources via telephone. After asking a few questions was invited to come meet in person for a face to face interview. Very professional organizational skills from email confirmation (where to go, what to bring, what to expect, etc).
