The HR manager I had my interview with was not very nice and somewhat condescending. Other than that, my experience at Hy-Vee was great. I enjoyed my time there and liked that you could work as multiple positions.
Quick in person interview. Everyone is nice and wants to know your work experience and to make sure it is the right fit. Everyone is incredibly nice during the process.
Asked basic behavioral questions. Only three or four questions were asked. I was contacted within a few days to tell me I got the job, and then had to take a drug test.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hy-Vee (Coralville, IA) in Aug 2017
Interview
It was strange, this was my very first interview, so I honestly have nothing to base my experience off from it, it was intimidating of course, but it wasn't as difficult of a process as I originally thought it would be, however, I was also fired by the same person who hired me, so I feel like all the higher-management at the Coralville location is quite two-faced, to be honest.
