Met with the hiring manager. Fair interview process, simple, no trick questions. Reply and update on progress was quick, as planned. Human Resource department did not play any role. Only person involved was the hiring manager.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hyatt (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2013
Interview
I was interviewed by multiple senior management individuals from IT and Finance department. My first interview was with CFO of the company who was a sponsor for a multi year, multi million dollars project which was in trouble due to multiple reasons. They had to change go-live date multiple times which added significant cost to the project. CFO was looking for someone who could play a leadership role, help them re-planning and bring various teams together to make the project successful. CFO and VP of IT were convinced after multiple discussion with me and invited me to play a program manager role for the project.
