I applied online. I interviewed at IAT Insurance Group (Naperville, IL) in Feb 2019
Interview
It began with an online application, followed by a phone interview as well as an explanation of the training process, with a follow up call a week later to either confirm or deny and offer.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IAT Insurance Group in Nov 2024
Interview
Interview with the recruiter was great. Panel interview was stressful. At least 15 “Tell me about a time when…” questions. Few questions were asked specifically about getting to know the candidate. Overall, didn’t feel like a good fit.

Tell me about a time when you improved relationships between departments?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at IAT Insurance Group in Dec 2021
Interview
An unfortunate outcome that could have prevented this review. I was in the interview process for a month and a half for a underwriter role in Illinois. I went through all the interviews and was told I would hear back by end of week or early next week which is understandable. I was called two days later after my last interview by the companies recruiter claiming that someone was unable to attend the last interview and wants to schedule a quick call. I had to follow up multiple times to see if it was going to happen. After I called the recruiter one last time they stated they were still working on a time for me to be interviewed. At this point it was 8 days later after my last interview. Then the two days after the last conversation with the recruiter first thing in the am the company recruiter calls me to say there will be no interview and they are not choosing me for the role. I feel this was not handled appropriately at all to claim to a candidate there will be a follow up interview and claim it for over a week allowing a candidate to think they are still up for a position instead of just ending the interview process. They dragged on the ‘final interview’ claim for over a week which it seems they had no intent to do the interview at all. Which I feel reflects quite poorly on the representation of the company and how they handle their relationships with their candidates.
I applied online. I interviewed at IAT Insurance Group (Seattle, WA) in Dec 2020
Interview
The interview process was very organized and personable.
Overall, there were 3 interviews; an initial phone screening, an interview with regional managers, and an interview with VPs and divisional management. Everyone that I interviewed was very upbeat and seemed really happy to be part of the organization.
