I created an account on the career portal on the IBM webpage and took the time to fill in the application in detail. After 1-2 week(s) I received an automatic reply that I had been selected for the next step in the recruitment process. The next step was an online assessment that took around 45-60 minutes to complete. After finishing the test I had no possibility to see results and I had to wait for an outcome. After more than one month I received a NO REPLY automated message that I will not be further considered for the role. Meaning that being in the process for over 1,5 month I did not get one single personal message, phone call, question or anything else that fits a normal recruitment process. I get that many people applied for the job and that automated replies are a part of the game, but I do think that after 1,5 months in the process and making a one hour assessment is worth a personal reply or at least a reply with an actual reason I'm not being considered.
