I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ICF (Fairfax, VA) in Dec 2010
Interview
There were no tricks or unusual questions in the interview. I first interviewed over the phone with a recruiter. I was then interviewed with a panel of three managers on the project that I was being hired to join. They reviewed my resume and asked a few questions about my background for about 1 hour. After the interview finished, I was relieved when they said, "When we find someone that we feel would be good for the project, we don't waste our time with other interviews. We hire them right away".
3 step process with multiple questions asking about how you would problem solve for client solutions and how to communicate to non technical team members. Explaining using documentation can prove advantageous as well!
This interview contained standard questions about productivity, interests, organizational skills, values, past experiences. it was pretty standard, only one round but took a while to hear back with their decision.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ICF in Oct 2023
Interview
Recruiter call - HM panel - Teammates. It depends on the project also. If you are not heard back from them after the 2nd interview within 1 week, high chance that you don't get the job.
