The interview had very finance-related questions, even though it was for a marketing role. Little to no marketing-related concepts or questions were asked. Interviewers were more interested in pointing out wrong financial concepts rather than ask questions about the actual role.
The interview mostly revolved around your interview and follow up questions. Questions were mostly based on resume, basic HR questions and answers as well as some case studies were asked

The process involved an intense Techno-managerial round that balanced coding expertise with domain knowledge. Beyond just discussing my tech stack, I was challenged with real-world situational problems relevant to the banking sector to test my analytical logic. The conversation was rounded off with standard HR inquiries regarding my strengths, weaknesses, and alignment with the company’s values.

Question 1
One specific and challenging question they asked was how I would design a fail-safe mechanism for a high-volume transaction system. They presented a scenario involving a server outage during a fund transfer and asked me to explain how I would ensure data consistency, manage distributed transactions, and implement rollback strategies to prevent financial discrepancies.
