I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ICICI Bank (Bengaluru) in Jan 2022
Interview
Age old process of lobbying the candidates and pooling them into a meeting room and making them wait and sending them in to the meeting room one by one. These people, even if you digitize and streamline everything , they'll still make you wait and waste your time. I had interview scheduled at 9:30am and, i joined in time, people who joined pretty late entered but i was still there for 1 full hour just to be sent into the interview room. The interviewers were far from being professional, started with introduce yourself and then boom, we'll get back to you. What the heck could you judge from the introduction? An hour waiting for 1 hour for a 5 minute call. This is lazy mindset of the host and nothing else.
Were you working in between this, you have done MBA from here, what was your role there bla bla BS. Nothing regarding product management. I hardly think these guys would know anything about real Product management
3 Rounds i.e 2 technical and 1 HR , total time span 1 month . First tech round was pretty basic and 2nd was more related to job description and how can i be useful
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ICICI Bank (Mumbai) in Oct 2024
Interview
Application and then your understanding of the products and process in banking and technology and compliance and regulations in the India and fintech and ecosystem players and other things about past work experience
I was a campus recruit which consisted of a GD and an interview. If you do pretty well in GD, interview is very smooth and short. GD was based on a case study of whether they should provide an organisation credit of certain amount.
