I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IDEA Public Schools (Mission, TX) in May 2016
Interview
The interview process consisted of two steps. There was an initial screening phone interview with a human resorces person. After that, HR scheduled a campus interview with a school that had vacancies in the certification areas that matched my experience. The campus interview had two parts. There was a "speed dating" style question and answer session in which 6 administrators had 3 minutes with each of 6 candidates, asking questions from a preassigned list. Then there was a teaching demo. I had to write a lesson plan for one hour of instruction. I was expected to teach 5 minutes of the lesson to 3 administrators. They provided feedback on my teaching and I was expected to implement that feedback and teach the same 5 minutes again.

Question 1
What would you do if you heard another teacher gossip about another student?
Interviewed with them as an out of state teacher, and was asked to drive multiple hours one way to have an in person interview on campus. Interview itself went well, but clear they were hoping for someone with more experience. Left and they ghosted me entirely.
