Very unprofessional company and arguably one of the worst interview processes I've experienced.
Company asks that you pass an assessment test (pretty straight forward and easy), submit 5 references that have to complete lengthy surveys, including essay questions, and video record responses to questions provided on screen. Many of those questions have been posted in reviews left on this site.
If a candidate aces their assessments (they pull their assessments off of local state tests, I double checked myself after the fact and that's what they had did for me and I got every question correct), have glowing references, degrees, etc, they still probably won't take the time to answer back in a timely fashion. While other schools will at least talk to applicants face to face, IDEA gives them a barrage of tests and doesn't answer back, despite the answers, degrees, and references given being often far above the entry level teaching requirements they have (no licensing required or graduate degrees).
I honestly recommend candidates look elsewhere as the time investment is not worth the unprofessionalism of not hearing back when you jump through their hoops, ace their test, and don't hear back. If someone aces a test you hand out, give them the time of day for a interview chat.
