I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IGA (Tell City, IN) in Jun 2014
Interview
I put in an application at the store. I had to call back twice to get an "interview", which was the manager asking about the hours I could work. There was little to no other discussion about dress code, wages, etc.
I completed a written application and had an in person interview that was casual and informal. The interview took about 30 minutes, and the manager showed me around the store.
Interview was quick and easy, but I passed because it just wasn't a good fit for me. I wanted something more towards deli but they interviewed me for cashier. It was positive though.
during the interview, they were professional, asked pertinent questions and tested my skills in both French and English. it was a well organized interview process. I enjoyed the process and would have taken the job if i didn't get a job somewhere else first
