Thank you for the feedback. While admittedly that stung a bit, we really do appreciate your time in putting the review together. We strive to provide exceptional candidate experiences and we fell short in providing that type of experience to you. For that, we apologize. Your feedback has been shared with our HR Team. It will be used as we look to continuously improve our communications and transparency into the recruiting process for our candidates.
We do not take the responsibilities we carry lightly. Each candidate is a human being to us, likely one that works because they are providers for themselves and their families. Each candidate takes a risk to apply for a new job, especially in taking time from a current employer to interview and meet with our team. We are sorry you feel your time was not treated as such.
Regarding your comments about our organization directly, there are a few comments in your review we would like to address. First, our team members do hold our CEO in high regard. Scott is a great leader and one that puts people and purpose over profits each and every day.
Secondly, we are built on providing value and education about energy choice to our customers. We provide transparency with our residential and commercial customers into our pricing, contract terms, and other important factors to be considered when selecting an energy provider, allowing customers to make the decision that is best for their individual circumstances. Lastly, our culture is likely pretty weird to an outsider looking in, something most have not experienced previously. Maybe it does seem like many of us drank too much of the IGS Kool-Aid, but weird isn’t normal. And you don’t become a Best Place to Work by being normal or average. You do it by being different.
Given the opportunity, we would like to discuss your experience and concerns further. If interested, please contact our Talent Acquisition Lead, Erin Kinnison directly at Erin.Kinnison@igs.com.
