I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at IHG Hotels and Resorts (Boston, MA) in Jun 2011
Interview
Through an upper-level management referral I was able to skip the online/traditional application process and obtain an interview with the HR department (although I did have to eventually create a profile on the website). I sat down with the HR director, then bars manager, and then the bars management team. It was a thorough but fair investigation of my personality and demeanor and ability to represent the hotel well.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IHG Hotels and Resorts in Jan 2018
Interview
Efficient and professional. Called within a week. Had to follow up with them more than I should have. Had two interviews and in between interviews, was asked if I could start at a Lowe position bc short staffed. Was mislead and was never spoken to again about actual position applied/hired for. Missed out on other opportunities.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IHG Hotels and Resorts (Jacksonville, FL) in Apr 2014
Interview
It was simple. It was a sit down with the GM and the Restaurant Manager. It was a 1:1 at a table in the restaurant. Easiest interview to date. There isn't a whole lot to say other than that. After they asked me the questions about work we talked about sports until they gave me my schedule and I started the next week.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at IHG Hotels and Resorts (Milwaukee, WI) in Aug 2012
Interview
It was brief and easy process, we did a moth swab drug test and the human resources department gave me all the proper paper work I needed and answer all questions. I was asked of the little experience I had, then told I'd be trained proper for the job.
