Question 1
Why are you interested in working for this company?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at IKEA (Tempe, AZ) in May 2022
Interview
Initially, I interviewed with an off site HR Specialist, and was moved on to a second interview with a supervisor at a local store. My second interview was an in-person interview that lasted approximately 45 minutes. The interview had what seemed like standardized questions, but the process was helpful because it did a good job providing me with the opportunity to demonstrate my career experience and knowledge. I felt comfortable asking job related questions and expressing my knowledge, skills, talents and interests. I found the process struck a nice balance between gathering needed information and getting to know who a candidate really is and where they may be a good fit.
