I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at IKEA (Centennial, CO) in Aug 2022
Interview
First, a short phone interview to find out about my relevant experience, why I'm interested in IKEA, and my availability. Later, a 1h interview in the store (Centennial, Colorado). There also was a 30 min design assignment: to do a design concept and furniture layout for a living room based on description. There's not enough time and they know it, so they just want to see how you work in stressful situations.
My interview was a very positive experience, the design manager Denise was very supportive. However, I got a cold rejection from the recruiter, and when I asked for feedback she told me that they don't provide that for external candidates. That brought my general experience from positive to neutral if not negative.

The question was about my favorite space in the house, how should I display and give solutions to the customers, and stuff. I got the result 2 weeks after the interview.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IKEA (London, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
I applied online. Then I was invited to a video interview. The questions were very easy, just to know me better. Less then 10 days later I was invited to join an assessment day in the store, and bring our range presentation for the assignment ( the assignment was in the second email). The assestment day was really fine, funny and relaxed.
