Interview Rounds: Screening Call Aptitude Assessment – Basic Mathematics In-Person Interview – Offline at Office Location Experience Summary: Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. I traveled several hundred kilometers with high hopes based on the job posting and initial communication. However, during the in-person interview, the HR team unexpectedly stated that they were not hiring for the posted role but for a different position entirely. This should have been clarified before asking candidates to commute long distances for an offline interview. It reflects poorly on the company’s professionalism and consideration for applicants' time, effort, and cost—especially students. Additionally, I observed a lack of inclusivity in the workplace culture, which appeared to favor candidates from specific regions, particularly North India. This selective behavior was disheartening and did not align with values of fairness or equal opportunity. Final Thoughts: IKO needs to improve transparency in its recruitment process and foster a more inclusive and ethical interview experience. I would advise future candidates to confirm role details and expectations explicitly before proceeding with interviews, especially if travel is involved.
