I had three interviews in total — the first was a standard HR screening, which was fine. Clear, efficient, nothing out of the ordinary.
The second round was with a VP who spent most of the time talking about how intense the culture is — proudly mentioning that he works 7 days a week, 10 hours a day, and doesn’t really take breaks. It felt less like transparency and more like a brag, which was… concerning.
The third round, also with a VP, felt more like a formality than an actual interview. He opened with “let’s just chat” and asked to skip the intro. He didn’t explicitly say the role was already filled, but it definitely felt like it.
Overall, it left a weird taste. The process started off okay but made me question how they value people’s time — and how sustainable the work culture really is.
