IMC Trading Quant Trader Intern interview questions

Three rounds - two for technical, one for behavioral - all in one day over Zoom/Teams. for the first rounds, it was a typical probability/game theory type question about a game similar to blackjack. The game rules are described and a few basic questions are given to ensure understanding, and then every few questions, the rules are slightly modified to present a new situation. This mostly tested probability theory instincts (expected value calculation was involved). For the second round, it tested mathematical instinct by setting up a treasure map situation where at every turn you would have three different actions with three different outcomes, and you were challenged to optimize different situations given specific sets of variables

Assessments: If your application is a match, you then participate in a series of assessments. Interviews: If selected, you are invited to several interviews. Decision: Following the interviews, IMC reviews your performance, and if positive, they offer you a job.
