I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at IMG Worldwide (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2012
Interview
I was initially contacted via email by one of IMG's employees to fill out the necessary forms for my internship. The initial contact was kind and supportive in getting me started at IMG. She directed me to an attorney at the Chicago headquarters who contacted me via telephone and email to schedule an interview. The interview process was laid back yet informative and exciting.
Was quick and well done. They were very professional and asked standard interview questions. I prepared by reading up on their current business which was plenty of preparation. Overall great process
The interview process is very straightforward. First, you submit an online application. The next rounds involve phone calls with human resource personnel as well as department personnel. Familiarity with your resume and experiences and how it applies to your desired field or choice of work is beneficial and should be communicated clearly.

Interview
It was through Skype and it went very smoothly. HR was very friendly and quick to respond to emails prior to the interview to make sure everything was settled and in place. Interview started with a 5 minute presentation on why I wanted to work for IMG and how my experience/education applied to the job description. Was a little difficult to "present" over skype but managed it well in the end.
