IMG Worldwide interview questions

Met with HR at the corporate office she was very nice. Met with hiring manager at Art+Commerce she kept me waiting for almost an hour and then was very condescending and rude. Seems like an office where you have to fit into some 'cool' Fader Mag-esque aesthetic or they will treat you like absolute trash. She contradicted everything that was listed in the job description like coding and site maintenance and insisted that they were looking for someone cool who was awesome at blogging. Coding and blogging are very different. I could tell I just didn't fit in and the hiring manager thought she was exceptionally cool and this job was way too cool for me. In the future they should send someone to interview who knows what the technical needs of the organization are and not someone who looks down their overpriced glasses and judges people based on how they look. As a native New Yorker it is tiring to come across people from out of town who want to redefine themselves as an artsy cool person in the big city. Just be yourself because we can see right through you.

1. Contacted by HR. Asked relatively probing questions into the role, and my experience. 2. Brought onsite for an interview with several team members. Similar line of questioning but focused on particular areas. 3. Further onsite, phone and Skype interviews with more senior members of the team. 4. Several weeks passed before the decision was made. Offered extended.
