INFUSE Editor/Proofreader interview questions

I applied online and was contacted by a member of the company. They said they were offering $500-$1000 for a monthly contract and asked if I was still interested in the position. I thought I must have misread that it was full, time so I asked them to clarify whether it was a 40 hour per week position or not. They said it was. I withdrew my candidacy because the compensation was so poor. $500 a month would not be nearly enough to live on.
