I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ING (Frankfurt am Main) in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied through LinkedIn and got an interview invitation after a week. The invitation mentioned it as the first round of interview and can be taken either by Skype or by visiting their office at Frankfurt. I chose the latter. The interview is more about getting to know you well and to assess all your work mentioned in your resume. It involved thorough discussion regarding all your previous experiences and they ask you to present your work. They ask questions in between about your approach to the work you did and why it has been done the way it is done. The discussion went up to 1 hour 30 minutes. At the end, they mentioned that the position will have 4 rounds of interview, 1. Getting to know you round 2. Practical activity assessment (here you do some activity with a colleague from ING ) 3. HR round 4. Workers council has to approve your resume for the employment.
