I applied online through LinkedIn in mid-December 2022 but didn’t hear back until the second week of January 2023. We scheduled a video interview, in which I showed up 10 minutes early for & even waited 15 minutes past the scheduled time. As I waited, I emailed the interviewer letting her know that I had been waiting for her & even sent a screenshot for proof. Once I had already gotten off, she finally decided to email me stating she had been having issues with her laptop all morning — yet she didn’t find it appropriate enough to email me beforehand to let me know so we could reschedule. Instead, she waited until after I said something & allowed me to sit there & be ignored for an interview she scheduled. Eventually, we rescheduled & the interview went well. She stated there wasn’t anything that would make her think I’m not a good fit & that I would stand out more with my current certifications. She stated she would follow up in a week but if I didn’t hear from her to reach out. Red flag number 2 because why should candidates be reaching out if you're truly interested? Here it is 2 weeks later & absolutely no follow up from IQ-EQ. I even sent a follow up email & nothing but crickets.
