      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at IQ-EQ (London, England) in Aug 2024

      Interview

The interview process at IQ-EQ was thorough and well-organised. It started with an initial screening call where I discussed my background and career goals with a member of the Talent Acquisition team. This was followed by interviews with the hiring manager and a panel. These interviews felt more like conversations, allowing me to showcase my skills while understanding the company’s values: Personal, Authentic, and Collective. The communication throughout was excellent, and I appreciated the constructive feedback at every stage. Overall, it was a positive and professional experience from start to finish.

      Director Interview

      Sep 29, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at IQ-EQ in Mar 2024

      Interview

The hiring process was well-organized and smooth. Seven interviews later with six genuinely wonderful people (seriously, they were great), I felt like I was auditioning for John Locke in Lost rather than just applying for a job. And the grand finale? Silence—the kind you’d expect after confessing your deepest secrets to a priest. Then, in a plot twist straight out of a sitcom, I finally (after two months) got the news—not from the HR administrator, but from an employee (who I had to ask, mind you) who had referred me to the company. To add to the awkwardness, the HR admin emailed me that same day to say they still hadn’t made a decision. I later found out from a friend that the candidate had already been chosen while I was still going through the interview gauntlet. And surprise, surprise—it was a former colleague of the person I’d be dual reporting to, who, by the way, barely interviewed me (basically, just a “in role you will keep me updated on new laws or set up client meetings so I can pop in”). Hey, no hard feelings, but seriously—couldn’t we have cut to the chase a bit earlier? I would’ve totally understood :-)

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The questions were fairly general, aimed at assessing whether my personality would mesh well with the team. Nothing particularly technical or in-depth.
