In comparison to others - quite effective. Included a phone screening, on-site visit in Warsaw Office with 1:1, then 3 remote telcos with other senior managers in France, USA and UK. The communication was effective and took place through a recruitment agency - so kudos should go primarily to them. It was a multi-level process, typical for a more senior position. As I know the subject and had recent experience in IT Security Compliance - the questions I found rather easy. At some level I rejected the offer - not enough budget has been assigned (Poland is the pool of very good experts despite it is not a pool of cheap workforce anymore). We have escalated it through a CIO in London - but it didn't work out.
