First time went to an interview, I didn’t prepare well for that, so didn’t get the job. It was a nice experience. The recruiter screen was quick, then she arranged the HR interview within a few days later. The team manager was a nice guy, although my responses were not quite close to the answer, he still being polite and prompted the question one more time.

what is your motivation to become a business analyst?
HR round and Hiring manager round -
HR round was simple asking general HR questions.
Hiring manager asked questions on my experience, internships and skill. At last 2 business case studies relatively easy.
Had an interview with a recruiter for a position I was likely overqualified for. A couple of things to beware of:
- Misleading Compensation: The salary range posted online is significantly higher than what is actually being offered. When I spoke to the recruiter, the absolute "hard cap" was actually in the middle of the advertised salary range, even for a "superstar candidate". This lacks transparency and honestly wasted both my time and the recruiters time.
- Unprofessional Advice: The recruiter offered unsolicited advice on how I should communicate my "career desires" to my current employer before looking for new employers. It felt like a major overstep.
