Approximately a month after I applied, I was contacted by HR for basic eligibility questioning. Then my interview was scheduled for the following week (per calendar availability). The questions were very situational, not like how would you prioritize your tasks, but specific project examples that clearly had correct answers and incorrect answers. I was asked to define a few key terms, and other questions that seemed more pertinent to the knowledge I possessed in that moment and not my ability to learn. The process left me wondering what type of on the job learning or training would be available, and how much would be you just hitting the ground running. The next day I was given an assignment to do, and given my lack of experience within one aspect of the job, they did allot me thirty additional minutes which was generous. So in total I had 2.5 hours to finish a 3 part assignment. I submitted that assignment over a month ago, and have heard absolutely nothing from the company, the hiring managers, or HR.
