I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at IXL Learning in Jun 2020
Interview
I was contacted about a week after I applied to set up a phone interview with someone from the HR team. During the phone interview, I was asked basic questions about my previous experience and why I wanted to work with the company. A day or two later, I was emailed to set up a virtual interview. At the end of that interview, I was asked if I would want to come back for a final round, where I would need to present to a few members of the team and then would talk current team members. About 2 weeks after my interview/presentation, I received an email that they did not plan to move forward with my application.

Question 1
Have you ever had to have a difficult conversation with someone on your team? How did handle this?
The initial phone interview was ok. However, I was surprised by a comment he made suggesting I may not have been considered for the role if not for a referral, which raised concerns about the fairness of the hiring process. After the interview, I followed up multiple times with questions but received no response. Based on this experience, I would not consider working for this company and would not recommend it to others seeking a career move
first one was a call to make sure i was a real person and the second one was a real interview. they asked the common interview questions like “what do you do in this siturayion’
