Interview
My experience interviewing at IXL started positively. I was a referral and felt a good connection with the hiring manager and team. I completed a final interview and was rejected via email with no explanation or feedback, even when I replied requesting it.
What was more alarming was nine months later when the hiring manager who I had already spent quite a bit of time getting to know throughout this process messaged me on Linkedin as if she had never met me asking if I was interested in a recruiter role. It was clearly a Linkedin template and she didn't even take the time to look at my profile or she would have seen that I was already a finalist that she chose not to hire.
Luckily I'm happily employed now. But there were a lot of red flags about the recruiting culture when I interviewed, and even more now that I received such a careless message.
