IXL Learning Science Curriculum Designer interview questions

Skype interview with a member of the Science Curriculum Design team. Asked me the basic questions: why do you want to work for IXL, describe your teaching experience within science, describe your projects/work experience since college. Also asked if I had looked at their website, interacted with it, and what I would do to improve it. Interviewer then went over the job description, the company's culture, and the state of the science development team. Said I sounded like a great candidate for the job and that I would hearing back for my second interview in the coming weeks. Got an email a week later saying I wasn't the right fit for the job.

There was an initial interview over the phone by one of the design team members, next there is a phone interview by the design team manager and finally an on site interview.
