I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Illumina in Jan 2019
Interview
I applied online and was contacted approximately 2 weeks later. I interviewed with the hiring manager, and asked technical questions. He asked about my previous experience on my resume, and then asked more technical questions, such as how I would set up a particular test and what variables I would account for, etc and some basic coding prompts.
I found this interview to be fairly difficult, but only because I had assumed it would be regarding Illumina's technology and a behavioral screen. The manager was very polite and nice, making sure he's understanding my thought processes correctly.
