I applied online. I interviewed at Illumina (Madison, WI) in Aug 2014
Interview
Got two phone calls. one from the recruiting mana.ger who was very nice and asked very soft easy questions. One later from the hiring manager asked lots of hard questions, had a pretty rude overall demeaner
Starts with HR screening call, then moved on to hiring manager call, then moved on to virtual panel interview with 6 members of different teams, whole process took about a month

Interview
They asked for a video one way interview which was strange. Feels like the manager does not have the time or cares enough about the process to do the interview themselves.
Talent acquisition asked standard questions but couldn’t tell me much about the specifics of the team or role. Would imagine that would have been more of a hiring manager task.
