There were a total of 7 rounds 1. First one is with hiring manager, trying to understand your work history and whether you've relevant experience. 2. Second round is outsourced to Karat. You get 15 minutes for verbal questions and 45 minutes to code. If you solve one coding question, you are presented with next and so on. Try to solve atleast two. Overall, kudos to Karat for managing this round very well Next 5 rounds can be in different order for you 3. Troubleshooting round where you are given a prod incident scenario and you need to explain how you'd go about troubleshooting. Very relevant to your actual work, so i liked it 4. Coding round. Not too relevant, but is taken in case you choose to move to a developer role. From friends I've heard that SRE and Developer interviews are not too different 5. Resume deep dive. Basically explain everything on your resume and walk through a past project of your choice 6. Architecture design. You'd be given a use-case to add a new feature to existing system and have to design just that functionality. Keep a mix of high level and low level design 7. Closing round where all the previous rounds are summarized P.S. the hiring team will brief you about all the rounds and give some resources to prepare from once you clear the Karat round
