I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Indiana University in Jun 2009
Interview
One in-person interview with four other people, including a future co-worker and direct supervisor. Traveled in from out of state but was not offered assistance with lodging or parking permit. I think this was the supervisor's first hiring committee so she overlooked these things. Otherwise, interview was painless. I asked a lot of questions. Got a phone call two days later offering me the position.
