Phone interview was short and simple. Asked questions like what was the most difficult thing you've experienced and how did you handle it, etc. Lasted about 15 minutes. Interview was with someone from HR.

The first two interviews were easy. One was a behavioral interview - 'where do you see yourself in 5 years?', 'describe a time you've dealt with conflict in your team', etc. The other was slightly more technical, but mostly behavioral as well. They gave me a coding assessment to complete within 24 hours. It was very easy. They weren't leetcode/algorithm prompts; they were more so just basic python and sql questions. Before I submitted the test, they reached out and said that I'd be a better fit for a different role. I declined to move forward.

I found the job online and had an interview with an HR person over the phone. They were very nice and I was called in for an interview the next week. I was interviewed by two Engineers and both seemed like they didn't know what to ask or say. Since I didn't have specific domain knowledge in what they were looking for they acted gradually more dismissive and unprofessional. At this point I would have rather left but I was then interviewed by HR for another 15-20 minutes on basic "what was your worst mistake" type interview questions. I was also directed to fill out paperwork at this time which seemed pretty premature and time-wasting. Overall the process was an unorganized disaster and I shouldn't have had to spend nearly as much time there as I did. HR should not have called me if I didn't have the skills they were looking for which I was very clear about in both my resume and in the phone interview.
