I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at InfoTrack (New York, NY) in May 2019
Interview
The process took about a week, first phone screen with CEO followed by on-site. Phone screen was not technical at all. On-site was some whiteboarding system design, some easy hello world type code problems. Overall very easy and relaxed process. However, their senior engineers seem to be recent grads and they use an obsolete tech stack. Don't expect too much and better avoid and do not waste your time. Furthermore, it is a very small startup and I bet they have a lot of micromanagement from CEO who is a former developer. For the beginner, it could be a good place to start your career tho.
Overall, a very streamlined process - But they got very knit picky over then end. Their HR person completely misunderstood one of my answers and was declined based on that. Disappointed, but seems like a dodged bullet.

Question 1
Technical interview's questions based on the tech test and decent questions.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at InfoTrack (New York, NY) in May 2024
Interview
- 30 minute call with external recruiter
- 30 min intro interview zoom with technical manager
- 1 hr technical React interview over zoom
- 1 hr in person behavioral interview
- async take home assignment (React+C#)
I received an mid salary range offer from InfoTrack and they said they did not have a specific timeline they wanted me to accept or reject it -- I said I would respond within one week and they agreed to that timeline. The next morning the recruiter called and said they wanted an answer by EOD. This clearly felt like a pressure push to get me to accept their sub-par offer. Thankfully I was in a position to accept a better offer at another company -- this ending felt very scummy after putting in what was probably 15 hours of effort of interviewing over an entire month.
