Question 1
What were you involved in at your last job and how have you contributed to the solution?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at InfoTrack (Saint Louis, MO) in Mar 2022
Interview
Two in person calls. Standard interview asking about work experience, and some tech questions. Third step was working on a homework assignment in which they want you to scrape some results from a google search.
They want the application "over engineered" and want you to really showcase your skills with unit tests and adding features outside of the requirements given.
It seems they want to see some very specific things because they turned me down without even asking to have a conversation about what I wrote which I think is a mistake on their part as it doesn't give them an opportunity to understand the thought into what was written.
