The recruiter welcomed me with a thought that she's waiting for the weekend and seemed impatient and a bit arrogant (she finished the meeting after 30 mins, though it was fixed for 1 h). She seemed not to know what is UX Research about and had problems with understanding English. Asked me about last product that I've worked (not research report, but product in details) and wasn't able to process it on meta level and connect with job requirements. Both the interview as well as the answers provided in the e-mails (when I asked about feedback) were too general ("because we have candidiates that are a little more experienced than you") and uncovered a lack of diligence. It was visible that recruiting person didn't have data processing skills - both from resume provided as well as from interview. That's review is not about getting job. That's about respect, seriousness, inquisitiveness while recruiting. I've run hundreds of interviews with people as an UX researcher, therefore I know when questions are asked in order to get better understanding of interlocutor. Questions from my interview weren't like that.
