Interview
I reached at exact timing mentioned. Since I was first to reach at the venue, I was taken to interview room straight away (after filling few docs which took about 10 mins). My interviewer seems to have just landed in Gurgaon and read my Resume and started asking me section wise initially starting with brief description of my work. My interview lasted about 55 minutes.

Question 1
Map Reduce: Program on combiner, what is partitioner, Shuffle. Few other questions were also asked which I don't remember
Hive: Bucketing, Partitioning, Internal and external tables, ORC format, Internal logic of compression in Hive, Write a DDL for external table using partition on a particular column. How many partitions should be used ideally and how to calculate that. Performance enhancement of Hive was also asked and each of the options I gave like vectorization, Tez, strict mode was asked in detail. Distribution by, group by was also asked. I was asked to write few sample queries bases on particular scenarios
SQOOP: Basic questions like how to import data, how to import metadata of a table, exclude table from list of tables in database, how to load in HDFS in incremental mode. I was asked to write certain queries based on scenario which ranged from easy to medium difficulty level.
Spark: Spark was asked in detail and question ranged from easy to medium hard level. RDD, Types of RDD, Dataframes, Datasets, how to implement them (by writing code on paper), optimization of spark code, application master and its functionality. Difference between Df and Datasets and which is better. Why dataframes are used if Datasets provide better functionality. Lot many things were also asked which I don't remember now
the inrterview process was very good and it took 2 months to release the offer letter, the panel were very helpful and supportive . Questions were very relevant and were of moderate level
They will first do technical Interview after that they arrange a HR discussion on the same day to discuss about salary package and preferred locations and about company terms and policies

Interview
It was smooth back in 2022. Not sure about the situation now.
Tech and HR round were prompt and got the letter in 2 weeks.
