I applied online and received a phone call asking if I had time for a phone interview, which I eagerly accepted. Afterward, the HR manager went to speak with their technical team to see if I passed. After another week, I was asked to come in for an interview with their lead programmers. Overall, the environment was pretty casual. Most of the people were either wearing jeans and a polo or shorts and a polo. They were very laid back, which made the interview go over well. I was given a tour of their facilities, etc and was told that I should get another phone call soon. After another week, I was received an offer letter that I eagerly accepted and filled out all the required information. I was to start on the next Monday, until I received a call on Friday from HR informing me that they'll have to resend the offer letter. I eagerly asked why, and was never given an answer. I then sent a hand written letter asking if they could please send me a copy of my background report or why I am unable to work with InfoTech. I received a return phone call asking that I never contact them again in regards to this position. To this day, I have no idea why I was not hired. I even paid ~$40 to the state of Florida to receive a copy of my background check and it was CLEAN. I have never been arrested or anything like that. The worst trouble I got into was a speeding ticket, which was paid within 30 days.
