Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you plan to grow your business outside of sales numbers?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Ingram Micro (Buffalo, NY) in Nov 2025
Interview
The process took three whole entire months. It was three months of wasted time and energy. It started with the most incompetent recruiter that I have ever experienced in my entire professional career. The recruiter would not respond after many follow up emails and when she finally responded, it led to nothing for months. She wouldn’t schedule meetings for the correct time and her emails were unintelligible and full of grammatical errors. When I finally met with the hiring manager, it went well and I could tell they liked me. They told me they planned for a January 1st start date which is many months after the job posting. They got back to me after a few weeks and didn’t move me forward to the next step in the hiring process. Ingram Micro really acts like it is the only business in the tech sector. They should be mindful of the fact that there are plenty of other actors in the field offering the same services. Ingram Micro should focus on improving their recruitment process to retain talent and respect candidates time.
