Received a call from the HR but it took them 1.5 months to arrange for the interview (and the assigned HR person changed pretty much every week). While following up, almost always received the response that the another HR would take care of it, or another HR person should have contacted me. So that gave me an impression that their recruitment process is very messy and uncoordinated.
At last I got a call from the HR regarding the interview. First one was over the phone and was a simple and short one. I was asked very simple questions such as about my background, both technical and managerial, some details on certain aspects of my career, such as what I did in a particular role etc. Very generic and common questions. Just knowing about my own story was good enough. Then had another interview with another senior person, and this was even shorter (and simpler). Again, over the phone.
While the HR was initially slow as a snail, the interviewers were quick as lightning to provide their feedbacks. From them contacting me for the first time to offer took almost 2.5 months while the first interview to offer took 2 weeks only. Negotiation was little dissatisfactory. The HR came with a fixed number/ terms in mind (which might actually go against them in the long run, since a candidate would be more prone to switch to another one when he/ she gets a better offer), and every discussion to find the common ground ended up in long winded, tiring and similar logic looping (of course, I am to blame 50% for it). I took this offer, as this is so far the most attractive among the all-available offers with me, but many promises that the HR made over the course of the process were not honored. It might worked for the HR in a short term, but definitely is not beneficial for the organization in the long run.
