Applied online and sent resume through Glass Door, in the Very Early Morning, I rec'd a Call Back from a Woman, She was Vague and began asking me if $17 an hour was ok right away. Her accent was strong and Thick and hard to understand, I had to ask her to repeat several questions. She Then asked me for My name, DOB, and SS#. I refused to give this information and asked her if she worked directly for the company I applied to, She answered Yes but then skipped back into asking me for personal information right away. I Told her I was uncomfortable with this line of questioning since most employers do not ask for a SS# in this fashion, Even if she was legitimate her lack of interview skills and vagueness made her seem sketchy. She did agree to send me an email in which she did, but I then learned she was a recruiter and not a HR representative for the company in which I applied at.
