I received an interview invite. The person who did the phone screen was inexperienced and unable to answer some really basic questions I had about the role and company. If this person doesn't have the knowledge, why is she doing any screening? The recruiter cannot be effective. The person who did the phone screen also turned out to be unprofessional too as I was never updated about my status. When someone takes the time to apply and interview with you, thank them and tell them where they stand. It's rude to just ghost people. I only found out my status after hearing nothing and following up. But that's why Glassdoor exists is to call out the bad actors like this company who treats candidates this way. Don't waste your time applying with this company. Besides when the real estate market crashes, this business will go down too.
