A 30 minute recruiter screening followed by a 24 hour take home assessment if you passed the screening. Upon opening the assessment's instructions, it was then made clear that there was a portion due within 2 hours of receipt of the assessment. The recruiter made no mention of this. The other portion that they actually allotted 24 hours for was a case study with sample data provided. A presentation with accompanying analysis and executive summary was to be made. Having given no heads up around the fact that this was a case study that deserves several hours to address, along with the misleading information around part of the assignment being due within 2 hours of receipt.. this was entirely misleading and ridiculous. Upon completion, the recruiter responded 2 days later saying that they were already extending offers to other candidates. Several hours of my time were wasted with nothing to show for it. Unprofessional and lazy on their part. I will never bother with them again.
