Recruiter screen and hiring manager interviews were scheduled in a timely manner; felt quite ordinary, although HM seemed inexperienced with interviewing and did not have a clear vision for their candidate / couildn’t answer basic candidate questions such as team structure, candidate fit, etc.
Panel interview and director level interview followed in about 1 month, both fine but again, the team and director did not seem invested in actually hiring for the role.
Zero communication since then, for 4+ months, despite multiple follow-ups.
Personal note: My past experience is a very close match, down to the exact medication/device, but I guess that’s not enough these days. So, don’t feel discouraged about their process, because even a unicorn candidate gets ghosted.
