Interview
First there was a phone screening interview. It went well and the decision was made to bring me in for an on-site interview. Between the phone screening and the on-site, I was instructed to apply for the position. The on-site interview lasted the whole day, during which I interviewed with the pertinent members of the team in 30 and 45 minute intervals.

One of my interviewers asked me how specific vacuum technology components work in regards to the deposition equipment I used.

Interview
Seven interview rounds spread across 1.5 months. All technical questions related to semiconductor device physics and circuits: device physics, band diagrams, gate leakage, inverters. No coding rounds. Relatively slow process and took 3 months in total to get the offer letter.
